for the most part i agree with what they are saying. I feel that the idea of "scientific accuracy" in the bible was introduced to christianity with the enlightment and is actually relatively (depending on how far you talk it of course) unimportant to christian belief and practice. I don't think jews from 4000 years ago wrote with the same ideas of scientific method and textbook realism that we would expect a European from 200 years ago to write with.

And in some parts I agree with them as well, like with Revelation for example - I mean, hey, Revelation itself tells us it's symbolic.
Genesis? Hmmmm....I don't know. Evolution still just does not make sense to me as a working theory, plus I don't get why God would use evolution to create.
