My dream job used to be "game developer", till I had an interview at a game company and realized they regularly expected 60-80 hour weeks at pretty low pay.
Well, here's my new dream job (seriously): "casual game developer". Enjoy. :)

Here in capitalism land they tell you if you find your dream job you should consider putting in 60 to 80 hours a week for 3 to 5 years until you are able to go out on your own or move up. I'm not saying that's the way I'd want to do it, but that's what they tell you here. Right now, I'm working 40 plus 12 hours a week of school (classtime not homework) plus i'm looking for a 8-12 hour a week internship. It sucks a lot right now, but I know in the end I'm going to be able to get a job doing something I love. Hopefully it's worth it.
